Education: MSW (Family & Child welfare Specialization), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam
She is having experience in working with women and children and facilitate community with gender perspective. She used to work in Development sector with Government and NGO. Present working in Andhra Pradesh Home Again project at Visakhapatnam implementing by The Banyan Organization, Chennai from Oct’2021 to till date.
Her career started as a Research Investigator in Social work profession and played different roles like Counsellor, community facilitator, trainer, Team leader in implementing different projects. Over all experience she used to Worked as a Gr I Supervisor in ICDS project Mandasa, Amadalavalasa Projects, Srikakulam District.
She received Best Supervisor certificate for her work at Srikakulam District. (2000-2006). She has worked as a District Program Coordinator in Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam Districts in AP Mahila Samatha Society, GOI project.
In this program she used to lead 35 team members in facilitating women to form as a Sangha at village level and move forward to Autonomous federation Mandal level to access their rights collectively. (2006-2016). Later she used to work in managing institutional services. Worked as Project in charge for IRCA Project (Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts), SEED organization, Visakhapatnam. (2018-2021).
She participated in different trainings – PRA, SHG concept, Panchayath Raj, Natural Resources, Gender Responsive Governance, Counselling skills, stress management, Job course training of Supervisor, ICDS project. Conducted different trainings for women, children and Panchayat members on Education, Health, Panchayith Raj, Natural Resources, Gender trainings for teachers, different Mandal level officials in the part of the employment.
Having Co Authorship - Searching for alternative frame work for Adivasi Women’s Economic Empowerment and Integration of Adivasi Women in Development an experience of Jana Chethana papers presented in the fourth conference seminar on the issues of Tribal Development in India organized by Department of Economics, Rural Development and Andhra Pradesh Economic Association on 5th December 2004 at A.U. Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Post Graduate Centre, Etcherla, Srikakulam District.
For the past 25 years in Development sector by playing a role of facilitator in addressing the issues like women & children Health, accessing the Government schemes, rights of women, Gender equity issues, Counselling of family disputes, alcohol addicts , understanding the present situations through different research projects.
